L’Alternativa d’Unitat Popular (AUP) ha estat la primera formació en estrenar el curs polític per parlar sobre la negociació dels pressupostos del 2018, que enguany es negociaran de forma conjunta amb tots els grups.
De cara als comptes de l’any vinent, l’Alternativa té diverses propostes, però la majoria, explica, són accions que ja han estat presentades i aprovades al Ple però que el govern no ha posat en marxa.
Entre les noves demandes la força política demana una inversió de 5 milions d’euros en política d’habitatge. Segons el regidor Aitor Sánchez, aquests diners no són només per a “emergència habitacional, sinó que cal treballar, perquè els preus de la ciutat són desorbitats”.
L’edil també ha apuntat que l’AUP exigirà a l’Ajuntament que trenqui el conveni amb El Periódico, vigent fins al desembre, que representa una despesa de 18.000 euros anuals per als rubinencs: “La portada d’El Periódico després dels atemptats vulnera el dret a la intimitat de les víctimes, no hem de regalar més recursos públics a una empresa que ha demostrat tenir molt poca sensibilitat”, afirma Sánchez.
Pel que fa a les qüestions que ja han arribat al Ple, l’AUP insisteix en què cal aprovar d’una vegada el Pla de Mobilitat, treballar en profunditat per la millora de l’espai urbà i dels espais verds. “L’àrea de Territori està molt mal festionada, la persona responsable (Maria Mas) no ha sabut marcar les prioritats”, apunta la regidora de l’AUP, Mireia Gascón.
Com a exemple, posa sobre la taula la qüestió del Pla d’Ordenació Urbanística Municipal (POUM), que s’havia de portar al Ple al juliol, però que el govern no ho va poder fer perquè no tenia prou suports: “Tot el que ens queixem ara de Rubí, el POUM ho perpetua i ho empitjora”.
Sobre aquest tema, el portaveu de la formació, Jordi Muntan, considera un “error molt greu intentar forçar l’aprovació d’un pla que no té el suport del Ple”, i recomana a l’executiu que “s’empassi l’orgull” i “reconsideri la proposta”.
