En Comú Podem Rubí vol municipalitzar alguns dels serveis que actualment estan presentant empreses externes, un cop analitzada la seva viabilitat econòmica. Segons ha explicat la candidata de la formació, Ànnia García, la municipalització no s’ha de fer “perquè sí”, sinó que cal “revisar amb criteris tècnics, eficients i viables” la internalització dels serveis. La dirigent dels comuns considera que municipalitzar els serveis ofereix la possibilitat “d’adaptar el servei a les necessitats de la ciutat”, “tenir un control directe de la prestació del servei”, “convertir en reinversió el benefici privat que ara va a les empreses” i “millorar les condicions dels treballadors”.
A més, la formació aposta per fraccionar algunes de les licitacions que ara mateix es fa amb lots grans. Per exemple, el contracte de recollida de residus i neteja viària, que està previst aprovar al Ple de març i que ha guanyat, de nou, FCC.” Dividir la gestió en lots facilitaria a empreses petites accedir al concurs, ja que amb lots molt grans només les grans empreses hi poden accedir, i fins i tot alguns aspectes es podrien municipalitzar”. Aquest contracte és el més important de l’Ajuntament i suposa una despesa anual per a les arques del consistori de 8 milions d’euros.
De fet, els comuns han estat molt crítics amb la gestió que l’Ajuntament ha fet d’aquest contracte, que va caducar abans de començar el mandat, va estar en pròrroga dos anys i ara fa dos anys que està en pròrroga forçosa.
El número 2 d’En Comú Podem, Andrés Medrano, considera que aquesta situació demostra “una falta de planificació”, critica que l’Ajuntament té “diversos contractes prorrogats” i afegeix que la “contractació pública ha de ser molt curosa”. A més, considera que el seguiment de les externalitzacions és inexistent, motiu pel qual hi ha conflictes laborals, com el del servei de grua.
