L’Associació Rubí Musical s. XXI compleix 5 anys de vida i per celebrar-ho ha organitzat un concert de primavera que tindrà lloc el 24 d’abril a les 12.30 hores a La Sala.
Es tracta d’un concert que té dues parts, la primera serà un concert per a piano i orquestra n.14 Bb. K450 de Wolfang Amadeus Mozart, amb l’actuació de la pianista Mariona Sarquella, professora de l’Escola de Música de Rubí i pianista concertista. “Tocar Mozart amb banda no és molt habitual, però hem volgut donar un toc de qualitat amb aquesta obra i creiem que el resultat és bo, el concert serà agradable i interessant per tots els públics”, afirma el director de la banda de l’Associació Rubí Musical s. XXI, Lluís Calduch.
La gona part del concert serà de música més contemporània amb un repertori de jazz. “Escoltarem peces des del jazz dels anys 50 fins a finals del segle XX. Serà una actuació musical de pinzellades de diversos estils de jazz, un concert perquè es diverteixin els músics i el públic”, afirma Calduch.
Les entrades, que tenen un cost de 5 euros, es poden comprar de forma anticipada a La Sala els divendres de 18 a 21 hores.
La banda vol seguir creixent
Des que l’entitat va iniciar la seva activitat ara fa 5 anys, no ha parat de créixer. L’Associació Rubí Musical s.XXI la van iniciar un grup de joves exalumnes de l’Escola de Música de Rubí que volien continuar tocant. Amb l’objectiu de crear una banda popular va néixer l’entitat, que dels 15 membres inicial ha passat a tenir-ne una trentena: “Hem doblat el nombre de components i som capaços d’atraure músics d’altres poblacions com Sant Cugat, Molins o Cerdanyola. Podem estar tranquils, però ens agradaria créixer més i arribar a ser una gran banda d’una seixantena de membres”, afirma el director.
